Trisoft Systems selected to develop B2B Trading Portal for premier Indian software association
New Delhi - September 23, 2005

Trisoft Systems has been selected as the vendor to develop a B2B Trading Portal for the premier Indian Software Association, STPI, amidst stiff competition from larger and better known software firms.

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is a society set up by the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India in 1991, with the objective of encouraging, promoting and boosting the Software Exports from India.

“It is indeed an honour when you are selected by the premier association of your own industry. After going through a stringent tendering process, it does make us feel extra special to be considered worthy of doing something for a body as prestigious as the STPI,” said Maneesh Batra, CEO of Trisoft Systems.

The trade-net portal that Trisoft is developing will allow companies and individuals from overseas to place their project RFQ’s and requirements which are subsequently bid upon by Indian companies via a reverse auction module.

In addition, Trisoft Systems will be integrating the various STPI websites into a single portal.
